This event requires more than rows of portable toilets. Organizers wanted restroom trailers that offered guests a cleaner, more comfortable experience, but fitting and servicing them inside Whiting’s crowded downtown footprint required careful planning.
With experience navigating complex events, our team coordinated trailer placement, pedestrian access and overnight servicing around packed streets, vendors and festival activity, delivering an elevated restroom experience without disrupting the event.
THE CHALLENGE
Managing Demand Across Every Block
Pierogi Fest does not operate like a single-site event. Activity shifts throughout the day between food vendors, stages, beer areas and the parade route, creating different levels of restroom demand across downtown Whiting.
At the same time, road closures and heavy pedestrian traffic limit when and how facilities can be reached. The challenge was building a plan that placed enough capacity in each high-use area while preserving vendor access, emergency routes and room for crowds to move.
