For the Touch of Dutch Festival in DeMotte, Indiana, we partnered with festival organizers to develop a portable sanitation plan that supported the event layout, anticipated guest activity, and the many operational pieces that come together during a large community celebration.

Planning began by reviewing the festival layout, identifying where guests would spend the most time, and understanding how activity would change throughout the day. Areas surrounding food vendors, entertainment, family activities, the car show, and other gathering spaces were all considered when developing restroom placement recommendations.

Working alongside organizers, we review the event footprint, expected gathering areas, food vendor locations, accessible routes, parking, and delivery access. Those conversations help determine where equipment can serve guests without creating obstacles for vendors, emergency personnel, or event staff.

Delivery timing was coordinated around festival setup so equipment could be installed before vendor traffic, temporary fencing, and parked vehicles reduced access throughout the park. By completing placement early, organizers had one less operational detail competing for attention during final preparations.
