Meet the Players
We believe in leveraging the power of community to push our limits, inspire one another, hold each other accountable, and strive for continuous improvement. As our company continues to grow, we aim to make a valiant effort in creating and maintaining lasting, interpersonal connections between our coworkers.
Lights, Camera, Action!
One way we focus on maintaining our tight-knit, family-like atmosphere is by way of our recent Meet the Players initiative. Inspired by the look of an NFL player stats reel, these mini videos serve as an easy way for the organization to get to know all the players on our team. Staged in front of a green screen, employees have fun using props to show off their personality in front of the camera. These videos are then paired with fun facts, illustrating how unique each member is. This information is then shared to our employee Facebook group and onto our TV screens company-wide.
Creating Meaningful Connections
Through this initiative, we’ve found that coworkers across many of our departments share a variety of the same interests, hobbies, and even take part in similar extracurricular activities. Learning these new bits of information about each other helps our employees connect with coworkers, even if they are on different teams or at different branch locations.
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work
By cultivating our own relationships with each other at work, we’re fostering trust amongst the team, leading us to come together to generate new ideas, identify key problems, and innovate unique solutions. As it turns out, employees who have friends at work are seven times more likely to be engaged in their jobs, according to research conducted by Gallup.com. The vital role that friendship plays is truly the force that drives us to be able to better the communities that we serve.
