Community and Connection

Irish You’d Aim Better Campaign

Let’s face it, when thousands attend a parade like the South Side Irish Parade, portable restrooms get a workout. At Service Sanitation, we wanted a fun way to keep them cleaner while giving the crowd something to smile about. That idea sparked our playful campaign: “Irish You’d Aim Better.” Equal parts humor, cleanliness, and community spirit.

Return of the Jingle Johns

No parade float is complete without music. Enter the Jingle Johns, our world famous singing porta-potty crew performing Irish-themed remixes of classic songs as the float rolls by. Expect familiar tunes, a sanitation twist, plenty of laughs, and maybe a few people singing along.

Built-In Target Practice!

Porta Potties are part of every major event, but let’s be honest, they sometimes need help staying clean. So this year we asked: what if we made aiming fun? Our urinals now feature mini targets theme for St Patrick’s Day to give users something to aim for. It’s simple, effective, and adds a little humor while helping keep restrooms cleaner.

Taking Message to the Streets

Of course, we couldn’t keep the fun inside the restrooms. This year we’ve enlisted one of our newer pumper trucks to become a parade float too with basketball hoops mounted on the sides. Parade-goers toss toilet paper into the hoop for a chance to win some prizes. It’s simple, hilarious, and surprisingly competitive.

Community, Cleanliness, & Good Cheer

This campaign is all about connecting with the community in a memorable way. With humor, games, and creativity, we’re turning something practical into something fun. Urinal targets help keep facilities cleaner, the parade float brings the community together, and the Jingle Johns bring the entertainment to life. It’s a celebration of what Service Sanitation does best, keeping events running smoothly while adding a little extra joy.
