Every June, the streets of Chicago explode with color, music, and celebration as the Chicago Pride Parade takes over various locations across the northside of Chicago in the Boystown neighborhood. With 151 parade entries, 15,000 participants, and over 800,000 spirited spectators, it’s safe to say things get a little… busy. That’s where Service Sanitation comes in.

Chicago Pride Parade FAQs

About two miles of pure celebration! The parade kicks off at Sheridan and Broadway, then winds its way through the heart of the city—down Broadway and Halsted, across Belmont, and back onto Broadway—before wrapping up heading east on Diversey to Cannon Drive. It’s a vibrant journey filled with color, music, and pride every step of the way.

The parade marches through Chicago’s Uptown and Lakeview neighborhoods — right through the heart of Boystown!

The 2025 Chicago Pride Parade kicks off at 11:00 AM on Sunday, June 29.

Over one million people hit the streets every year! It’s one of the biggest Pride celebrations in the country — full of love, color, music, and major vibes.

The 2025 Chicago Pride Parade typically lasts 2 to 3 hours, so you can expect it to wrap up around 2 PM.

📱 Charged Phone + Portable Charger – For all the selfies, TikToks, and capturing the experience.
🧻 Pocket-Sized Essentials – Wet wipes, mini hand sanitizer, maybe a roll of emergency TP (we keep ours stocked, but it’s always good to be extra).
🕶️ Sunscreen & Shades – Your skin deserves protection while you serve looks.
💵 Cash/Card – For food trucks, merch, and last-minute rainbow flags.

Servicing one of the largest Pride parades in the country isn’t your average weekend delivery. With parade entries and crowds expected to pack every inch of the neighborhood, our team starts rolling into the yard by 4 a.m., hitting the streets by 6 a.m. to beat the traffic and secure prime placement.
