Job Description

We are currently seeking a self-driven and highly competent Director of Sales to create the structure, processes, and incentives that will help inspire and grow our customer service and sales teams. In this newly created role, you’ll use data collected through customer engagement, prospecting tools, competitive intelligence, and other market trends to provide strategic direction for the team, building the playbook for future successes.

The ideal candidate for this position must possess a strong ownership mindset, outstanding written and oral communication skills, and strong leadership qualities. They should have a proven track record of streamlining organizational efforts, driving innovation, improving overall revenue, and implementing strategy.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be willing to motivate the team by leading with energy and strength, sometimes challenging the status quo. You should be a master at coaching and presenting detailed subject matter in a clear and understandable fashion. Someone who builds trust amongst the team by being transparent, ethical, and honest.


  • Provide day to day leadership/coaching to customer service and sales teams.
  • Understand and utilize sales reports, CRM, and forecasts.
  • Craft and implement individual goals with each team member, ensuring growth.
  • Track sales goals, reporting results to director team as necessary.
  • Plan and implement all price and fee increase in a timely manner.
  • Run motivational team meetings that may include reporting numbers, contests, motivational videos, and/or other sales training tactics.
  • Ensure that all policies requiring use of CRM are being followed.
  • Oversee all phone systems, making sure coverage is adequate.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure content and collateral is on-brand.
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
  • Develop and implement a team playbook to ensure best practices are being followed.
  • Oversee scheduling of staff including time off, break schedules, and weekend coverage.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in sales management, business administration, or related field.
  • +5 years proven experience in a sales management position.
  • Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes.
  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
