We are currently seeking a self-driven and highly competent Director of Business Management to lead and influence our organization towards favorable growth and to design and direct strategies that support and enhance overall organizational growth.

The ideal candidate for this position must possess a strong ownership drive, outstanding and assertive communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and excellent organizational skills. They should have a proven track record of streamlining organizational efforts, directing operational budgets, and implementing business strategy with internal stakeholders, staff, and surrounding communities.

In this role you’ll collaborate and coordinate with leadership team to drive the organizations vision, operational strategy, and overall needs to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily workflow of the IT, HR, Billing, Compliance, and Purchasing teams, aiding in escalated issues.
  • Use knowledge of workload to control costs and make informed business decisions.
  • Assist recruiting team in the hiring and onboarding of management-level staff.
  • Analyze data on anticipated workload to allocate resources accordingly.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operation procedures (SOPs) to help maximize efficiency without overloading the organization’s internal capacity.
  • Oversee the implementation of performance evaluations for each department, ensuring discipline and termination of employees is in accordance with company policy.
  • Ensure OSHA regulations are enforced and that all required documents are kept up to date.
  • Identify, develop, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to streamline company resources, saving time and/or money.
  • Collaborate with other departments and branches to execute company goals and initiatives.
  • Craft internal communications regarding operational-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure consistent follow through.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of when to escalate and/or collaborate with management team to resolve operational issues.
  • Collaborate with communications team to develop new training programs that empower staff with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration or related field.
  • +5 years proven experience in a management or leadership position.
  • Ability to be available and work after hours for escalated issues.
  • Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes.
  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
