Job Description

As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for the cultivation and growth of an assigned book of accounts, which could include construction, special event, or industrial customers. Through the support of our inside sales and customer service teams, you’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities through prospecting and lead generation while also fostering new and existing customer relationships.

To be successful in this position, you’ll need to have a sales-driven mentality with the ability to quickly establish rapport, produce high volumes of sales calls, offer solutions to opportunities, and resolve customer issues.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine site visits for quality assurance purposes
  • Produce a high volume of outbound sales calls to established customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure requests are handled appropriately.
  • Process customer contracts, quotes, proposals, orders, and contract renewals in a timely fashion.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer problems then offer strategic solutions that drive customer satisfaction, retention and revenue growth.
  • Meet projected sales goals by contacting prospective leads and also identifying new opportunities through outbound calls.

Qualifications & Essential Job Functions

  • 3- year experience in a sales capacity with sales/growth-oriented personality
  • Fully knowledgeable in lead sourcing, negotiation and the art of closing
  • Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communications skills
  • CRM program management experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Valid Driver’s License for visiting customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
